Bowl a strike. Make an impact. For over 40 years, Bowl for Kids' Sake has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies throughout the country, serving as our premier fundraising “Thank You” party. After a month of raising awareness and funds, our local agencies thank their volunteers with a Bowl for Kids' Sake party at their local bowling center.

Upwards of $20 million is raised, nationwide, through this effort, along with the hopes and aspirations of children who deserve an opportunity for a better future. Because of Bowl for Kids' Sake, more Bigs and Littles can be paired up, more friendships can be gained and improved outlooks on life can be started.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is about having fun to help kids continue on a positive path. It is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ largest national fundraiser, raising over $20 million annually for children in need across the country. By supporting Bowl for Kids’ Sake, you help our BIG dream of transforming Northeast Florida through a “mentoring movement” that brings a caring, supportive adult mentor into the life of every child who would benefit from having a Big Brother Big Sister.

Why Get Involved

We believe that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Most children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters live in single-parent and low-income families or households where a parent is incarcerated. Mentoring is a proven strategy that changes the way our children grow up by building attitudes and behaviors needed to stay in school, succeeding academically and creating promising futures. As we continue to impact more children in a positive and focused manner, we will improve schools, neighborhoods and our entire community.

How to Get Involved

• Team Captain: Select one of the northeast Florida counties you wish to represent and register by clicking on the Bowl for Kids’ Sake links below. Ask four friends or colleagues to join your team. Each team is asked to donate or raise a minimum of $500 ($100 minimum per player).
  
  *All bowling lanes for February 25 (1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.) are full. Please DO NOT register your team for these time slots. Thank you for your cooperation!
  
  **Midnight cosmic bowling has been canceled.
