We would like to share a story about one of our Little Sisters who has shown amazing courage when faced with an illness. She is a testimony to how positive thinking can really make the difference. Here is her story from the words of her Big Sister, Erika Medders. 

At Big Brothers Big Sisters we always enjoy sharing full circle match stories.  Like many of our Littles, Crystal Bentley came from a single parent home.  Her mother worked hard to support five children, but knew she needed help. After contacting BBBS, Bentley was matched with Carol Malys. "She opened my eyes to her perspective.  She worked to teach me about financial management, cooking and having fun," Bentley said.
