Our School-Based Mentoring Program permits Bigs to visit their Little at their schools. Together, Littles and their Bigs can:
- Eat lunch together
- Work on school assignments
- Read a book
- Set goals
- Chat and catch up
Need ideas of what to do with your Little?
- As a Big participating in our School-Based Program, each Big will be assigned a dedicated and professional Match Support Specialist (MSS). The MSS regularly visits the Little’s school and maintains regular communication with the Big, Little, and the Little’s parent/guardian. MSSs help guide and monitor each match relationship. If you are looking for tips, ideas or advice for your relationship with your Little, do not hesitate to contact your MSS.
- Bigs who participate in our School-Based Mentoring Program also have access to our quarterly e-newsletter called The Eddy. The Eddy newsletter provides informative mentoring tips and reminders, along with important dates for the school year.
What is the Commitment?
To participate in the School-Based Mentoring Program, Bigs will only need to commit to spending 1 hour with their Little each week. We ask that Bigs commit to volunteering for at least 1 year
