In Memory of Warren Grymes

In Memory of Warren Grymes

With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of a beloved member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida family.

After a long battle with cancer, fought to the end, Warren Grymes passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017, surrounded by his family.

Warren’s life and spirit touched so many. His work and dedication to the community impacted countless lives, many of which will never even know his name. We are all blessed to have shared a moment on this earth with him.

Warren’s Celebration of Life memorial was held Saturday, September 23 at the Jessie Ball DuPont Center at 3:00pm. Warren’s family was grateful to see more than 200 of Warren’s friends, former co-workers and business partners pay homage and offer their support.

Warren’s family is asking donations be made to BBBSNEFL in lieu of flowers. Cards and condolences can be sent to our main office, and we will work on getting them delivered to Warren’s family.

Through Warren’s Legacy Club, our goal is to raise $16,900, equivalent to 13 match sponsorships, in honor of each year of service Warren has committed to our organization.
